After a whirlwind night filled with The Game Awards announcements, the RPS team is feeling a bit wiped out.
With that in mind, let’s keep this weekend gaming preview brief and to the point.
Here’s a look at what everyone’s planning to dive into over the next couple of days.
Brendy and Graham’s Plans
Brendy is in search of a relaxed gaming session.
He’s set his sights on Wreckfest, eager to immerse himself in the delightfully chaotic visuals of crashing cars and destruction.
It’s all about finding peace amid the digital mayhem for him.
Graham has his heart set on Loco Motive, a whimsical adventure filled with murder mystery.
However, he’s worried that holiday-related tasks, both personal and work-related, might steal away his precious gaming time this weekend.
Ed, Edwin, and James
Ed is currently taking a hiatus from gaming.
In fact, he’s so far out of it that he’s in an unconscious state.
Edwin is having a similar experience, temporarily stepping away from the gaming scene for a while.
James is also in a state of unconsciousness at the moment, but he’s optimistic about jumping into Darktide as the weekend rolls on.
Jeremy, Nic, and Ollie’s Adventures
Jeremy is buzzing with excitement after the announcement of Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound.
This has sparked a desire in him to revisit the classic Ninja Gaiden games on Steam that he has yet to complete.
Inspired by the retro feel of the original NES titles, he’s contemplating dedicating time to them over the coming year.
For this weekend, he might settle for flipping through his cherished 1990 Nintendo Power guide for Ninja Gaiden II, which he considers an essential resource from a guide writer’s point of view.
Nic is fully engaged in commanding his orc troops in Total War: Warhammer 3.
He’s deeply engrossed in strategy and is even contemplating the addition of a troll to bolster his forces.
Ollie is currently enthralled by the Operations mode in Delta Force, the first extraction shooter that has truly captured his interest since the untimely end of The Cycle: Frontier.
He couldn’t be happier with the game’s sharp graphics, fluid performance, and immersive gameplay.
And now, dear gamers, we’re curious about your own plans for the weekend.
What will you be playing?
