Curious about your skill level in Call of Duty? There’s an easy way to find out.

Players in the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 community have discovered a method to access their hidden Skill-Based Matchmaking (SBMM) ratings directly from Activision.

Accessing Your SBMM Report

The gaming YouTuber, TheXclusiveAce, has shared a step-by-step guide on his channel, walking viewers through how to retrieve their personalized SBMM reports.

These reports can trace back to your performance in Call of Duty: Vanguard, which launched in 2021.

However, be cautious—these documents may reveal sensitive information, including your IP address.

It’s wise to think carefully before sharing any of this data without making adjustments.

To kick off the process, head over to Activision’s privacy page and log into your account.

TheXclusiveAce mentions that he also had to access his PlayStation Network (PSN) account during this process.

Once logged in, submit a request to access your personal information.

Keep in mind that before this method gained traction, players usually received their reports via email within about a day.

However, due to a recent spike in interest, you might find yourself waiting a bit longer now.

Understanding Your Report

The report you receive offers a thorough breakdown of your Call of Duty performance.

It covers a range of details such as the matches you’ve participated in, the game modes you’ve favored, the operators you’ve used, damage dealt, and your longest kill streak.

This data can be quite extensive and, for some, maybe even overwhelming.

Notably, the report illustrates the ups and downs in your skill rating over time, influenced by your gameplay actions.

Activision uses SBMM ratings to pair players in lobbies with others of similar skill levels, based on their defined criteria.

But not every player sees these ratings the same way.

For example, NBA star Donovan Mitchell has voiced his wish to be matched with less competitive players.

Veteran gamers might discover ways to utilize insights from their reports to enhance their performance in future games.

New Developments in Call of Duty

In other news, Activision has rolled out a new downloadable content (DLC) pack featuring stoner-lizard themes for both Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone.

In addition, there’s a recent patch for Black Ops 6 that addresses several in-game issues.

Treyarch has also announced an exciting collaboration, introducing elements from the hit Netflix series, Squid Game, into the gameplay of Black Ops 6.
