This year, the FAI Young Artists Contest experienced a remarkable moment as the judging panel received an inspiring entry.

A vibrant group of young artists from the Shafallah Centre for Persons with Disabilities submitted seven captivating art pieces through the Qatar Air Sports Committee.

These talented individuals, representing diverse nationalities such as Pakistan, Egypt, Oman, Syria, and Qatar, came together to showcase their creativity.

The Contest Overview

The FAI Young Artists Contest serves as a global platform for young people to explore and express themes related to flight, aviation, and the spirit of adventure through art.

Each year, member countries run national competitions to seek out extraordinary works, which then advance to a final selection round.

Ultimately, nine standout pieces are chosen—three from each age category—representing the best artistic expressions from the submissions.

Artwork and Inspiration

In 2024, the Qatar Air Sports Committee forwarded a letter to the FAI Secretariat, accompanying the artwork crafted by the young Shafallah artists.

The pieces, infused with color and life, drew inspiration from the contest’s theme of “Air Sports for a Peaceful World.”

Born in either 2008 or 2009, these young creatives showcased their skills through visuals filled with animated depictions of balloons, airplanes, and skydivers, bringing the theme to life in unique ways.
